Apartment Renovation in Barcelona

The proposal of this project, by Built Architecture, revisits and develops concepts and solutions for a slightly different domestic program. In the kitchen render, past and present are merged in an innovative interior transformation.

The space layout is structured around three key elements: a new white cornice, a longitudinal oak and marble stone piece of furniture. These elements define the day and night zones, creating a fluid spatial sequence.

The central oak furniture piece acts as a room divider, connecting the living room, multipurpose room, and the rear balcony through the kitchen. It allows more natural light to enter and creates a visual connection with the main façade, as we can appreciate in the kitchen render.

Natural materials, such as oak, white marble, and brass, create textures and visual contrasts. The interior render respects the original elements and establishes harmony between the old and the new.
